World Usability Day Panel Discussion
On November 10th, 2022, at 8:00 PM, I will be part of a panel discussion for World Usability Day. The panel discussion will be led by Ms. Josephine M. Giaimo, and we will be joined by Dr. Sarah Fadem.
The theme discussed will be “Our Health”. We will explore several challenges in the health field and the role that usability and the user experience play in creating successful user outcomes.
The panel is jointly hosted by the New Jersey chapter of the User Experience Professionals Association (UXPA NJ), Princeton Association for Computing Machinery (Princeton ACM), and the Princeton / Central Jersey Section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE / PCJS).
I would like to thank Ms. Josephine M. Giaimo for organizing this meeting and giving me this wonderful opportunity to share what I have learned from my research!
The meeting will be held online, so please join us! For more details about the talks and how to join us, please see the UXPA NJ MeetUp page for the announcement.

Advanced Statistics
In collaboration with Michele L. Oliver, Ph.D., President of the UX Researchers’ Guild
On November 10th, 2022 at 6:30 PM, I presented a teaser of some advanced statistical methods illustrated through an example from my research. The methods are based on a group of techniques to develop a partial least squares path model. These include framework development, measurement design, data collection, factor analysis, latent variable design, and path modelling. The recording of this presentation is available on the UX Researchers’ Guild’s YouTube Channel.
